My webcam is not coming up again after I formatted my DELL laptop. the display is not also sharp as it was.?

I downloaded the web cam's driver from Dell's support and installed. when the installation got to 90%, an error message popped that "An error occurred while setting up the driver" what could have been the caused?
Could have been a corrupt installation file... could have been the wrong drivers altogether.
And the fact that your display is not as sharp points to how you need to download and install the video drivers as well.
